Terms of Service

1. The service. OurCandids lets couples collect photos, videos, messages, and voice notes from their wedding guests via a shared upload page and private gallery.

2. Payment. Paid plans are one-time payments per event, processed by Stripe. Prices include VAT where applicable. Because the service begins immediately, refunds are handled case by case — contact us within 14 days of purchase if something isn't right.

3. Your content. You and your guests keep all rights to uploaded content. You grant us only the licence needed to store, process, and display it to you and the people you share your gallery with. You are responsible for the content your guests upload and for having their permission to share it.

4. Data roles. For guest photos and messages, the couple hosting the event acts as data controller and OurCandids acts as data processor on their behalf. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Retention. Galleries remain online for the period included in your plan, measured from your wedding date. After that, media is permanently deleted. Download everything you want to keep before your retention period ends — we'll show the date in your dashboard.

6. Acceptable use. No unlawful, infringing, or abusive content. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Liability. We work hard to keep your memories safe, but the service is provided "as is" and our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your plan. Always keep your own copies of irreplaceable photos.

8. Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email.
